Hawai’ian navigator Nainoa Thompson will be speaking November 19 at 11:45 am to 1:30 pm NZ time. Over the years he has sailed much of the world using traditional techniques, and was trained in Pwo navigation by Mao Pialug. He came to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2014 on the Hōkūleʻa.
